We’re collecting OK stuff

Send us all your OK stuff! We’re collecting everything lovely to do with OK on our flickr set so we’d be delighted if you could pass anything OK related our way on Twitter @mrandmrsok #okstuff OK? OK.

So far we’ve got some nice George Mason & Co. OK Sauce bottles and adverts:

Getting crafty!

My new cross-stitch kit from Emily Peacock

I love the texture of cross-stitch and have been wanting to get going on making something of my own design, but, I thought I should probably try and jog briskly before running so I’ve got this lovely kit from Emily Peacock (another find from watching Kirstie). It will be a cushion cover eventually (though at the moment it’s two lines of blue kisses), but the wool all coiled up like that is beautiful in itself.

This is a quick sketch I did exploring ideas for a local website we’re working on. It was partly inspired by the drawing technique used by Louise Gardiner on Kirstie’s Homemade Home in order to prepare for her amazing machine embroidery. This mainly involved shutting her eyes and listening to drum & bass while swaying in a slightly alarming fashion. I have to admit that I did peek at what I was drawing though!
