The OK clock
We commisioned this piece from Helaina last year and finally picked it up last week. It’s stunning, the photos don’t really do it justice.

Yorkshire puddings
What, for a man with my cooking experience, could possibly phase me when it comes to the kitchen?
As it turns out standing in a kitchen in Yorkshire, with three folks, Yorkshire born and bred, a tub of proper Yorkshire dripping to hand, and the prospect of producing Yorkshire puddings for a proper Yorkshire Sunday roast. No pressure then!

Above the fold
I ordered this book on the basis of the website, which I love and even though I am clearly not the target audience, it’s always interesting to take a paddle around the mind of another web designer attempting to explain the fundamentals.

We're all about the universe
I don’t know whether it’s a quirk of television scheduling but often we find ourselves watching lots of programs about one particular topic. A while ago this was light and maths but at the moment it seems to be all about the stars.
We’ve been watching Professor Brian Cox’s endearingly over-enthusiastic series Wonders of the Universe (all the time not being able to...
